"Failure," is the concerns that stress all of us,
and undesirable element in all aspects of our lives, but the truth is that the
nature of life cannot be without it, the important thing is how can you avoid
it?
Dr. Carol Morgan, author of the book "Change your
thinking, change your life” talked about 9 common mistakes that definitely lead to
failure, and how to avoid them . The following points are a
summary:
1- You do not know the real value of yourself
Many people underestimate their selves, believe that are
"less than" other people, and this in fact impractical thinking. No one’s
perfect each of us has strengths and weaknesses, and if you do not know the
value of yourself and your talents, you will not be able to give it to the
world. Therefore you are grievance yourself with your negative thinking.
2 - Looking for what you want and not what you need
We all know very well what we want, but not all of us aware
of what we really need; this is called "self-discipline", that the
balance between what you prefer and what is necessary for you.
3 - If you are chasing perfection
Perfection is a fairy tale; there is no human being without
mistakes, so we have to stop the prosecution of this idea. Instead chase the idea of "happiness",
if you're chasing something unattainable like perfection, you will not be happy
or successful.
4 - Blame others for your failure in life
If you're the type who always blames others for the lack of
success, then you need to stop it. Look in the mirror, the person who is in
front of you is the only one who can make you succeed or fail, only you can change
your life.
5 - Always waiting for others Compliment
There is no doubt that we are all seeking to be socially
acceptable, but always waiting for others to assess you , and the level of their appraisal is a standard
of your success ,by doing this you are looking at the failure itself ! You must
have a subjective criterion to evaluate yourself, which suits with your present
circumstances, and what you expect from yourself.
6 - Fear of failure
There is a difference between caution and fear of taking
initiative or a new step concern of failure. In fact, fear of failure is the
beginning of failure.
7 - Spending money unwisely
Inability to manage money and good saving, it is one of the
most common problems. The most important cause is spending money without planning which leads in the end
to have a negative impact on all aspects of your life.
8- Wasting a lot of time
As we said in point 2 (self-discipline), if you're wasting
your time doing things that you think are fun, but they really do not
contribute positively in your life or your future, you put yourself up for failure. Instead, develop
yourself by reading, writing and learning a new sport or hobby, in order to
take a step towards a better future.
9 - You have dreams without planning
It is great to have a passion for something, but more
importantly, that does not remain a dream just an idea in your mind, if you do
not have a plan for how to get to what you want, do not even bother starting,
before starting know how can you reach it.
